Fall Smoky Beer Battered Cauliflower (In the air fryer)

I’ve shared with you before how much I love my air fryer, right? These beer battered cauliflower bites feel like you’re indulging, WITHOUT really indulging. And you get all the benefits of cauliflower!

This’ll be 4 servings. 

  • 2 Cups cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 Cup almond purpose flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1/4 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup beer

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cheese, water and beer.

Stir in the cauliflower florets until they are thoroughly coated in the batter.
Add the cauliflower to the fry basket of the machine, set the temperature to 350 degrees and the timer to 15 minutes.

Serve with some chopped scallions and your favorite dipping sauce.
